Questions

Is PULSEBOUND free?

Yes. The whole game is free on Google Play, on the App Store and here in your browser. Ads are always optional: one plays only when you tap to watch it, for a reward. Premium removes the ads, unlocks all 7 instruments and earns 50% more royalties.

Is it pay to win?

No. Sprint, Daily Set and Survival are ranked and the same for everyone: no Studio upgrades, no items, no continues, and nothing you buy helps there. In the Tour and the Concert, Studio upgrades and items help, and you earn the royalties for them by playing; Premium and the packs only get you there sooner.

Does it play offline?

Yes. The app plays every mode without internet, and your ranked results wait on the phone until the next time you are online, then go to the leaderboards. The leaderboards and the ads need a connection.

Which phones and computers?

Android 7.0 or newer, from Google Play. iPhone with iOS 15 or newer, from the App Store. And any recent browser on a computer, tablet or phone, at playpulsebound.com/play, with nothing to install. Play upright or sideways.

Which languages?

English, Romanian, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese (Brazil). The game starts in your device's language, and you can change it in Settings.

How is my progress kept?

On your device, and backed up automatically. To take it to another device, link an account where the game offers it (Settings → More → Account); on iPhone that is Sign in with Apple. Without a linked account, progress stays on the device you played on. More on the Support page.

Do I need headphones?

No, but the game is made for them. With Bluetooth headphones the music can feel late: the Sync fader in Settings fixes that.

Does it have flashing lights?

Yes, rhythmic ones. Settings → Less flashing turns them down.

How do I play?

You only move, and your instruments fire on the beat by themselves. The guide explains the instruments, the FX pedals, the drop, the bosses and the modes.

Who makes PULSEBOUND?

PULSEBOUND Studio, in Romania. For bugs and questions, see Support.

Menu names are the game's English ones; the game shows them in your language.
